Lily’s many hats:

Lily can be found on the transplanting line, and doing all things production from sticking cuttings to watering. She is our Speciality Foliage grower and pulls SF during shipping season. She is our social media liaison, June-bug cuddler, photographer, and greenhouse construction and cleaning crew member. 

Lily's Rush Creek Grower's story:

One of the most surprising aspects of working at RCG is how many laughs we all share together. There is always an interesting story being told while we are planting in the spring or overhearing a funny conversation being said over the radios while we are pulling orders to be shipped. I feel like I always have a smile on my face whenever I am here at work. One of my favorite memories from this year happened during peak shipping season while I was out helping Jesse pull an order. I was handing plants in from outside and passing them off to Jesse inside. Poor Jesse couldn’t stop hitting her head on the hanging begonia baskets in the greenhouse. Each time she hit her head she let out a different yell and I couldn’t help but laugh. From that unfortunate incident the term “Begonia Brain '' was born and now whenever I hit my head on a basket I think of Jesse and her poor head getting knocked around by the begonias.
