What do I need to know to decide if RCG is a good fit for my business?

We only deliver locally in a range of roughly 200 miles. This means all Wisconsin and Eastern Minnesota. We do not ship orders by mail.

In spring we grow only plants that have been preordered. We don't grow to speculation with a few exceptions.

For spring sales we require our customers to prebook their orders. This spring prebook order is due February 1st.  The minimum order for 2024 was $6000 and may be increasing.

Deliveries start mid to late April and end the last week of May to the first week of June. During the shipping season you recieve a weekly list of plants from your preorder that are ready. You decide how many flats you want each week. There are a few items that we send the total preordered quantity when they are in their prime. It is also possible to take everyting in one or two deliveries. Our team can work with you to determine the best way to support your business.

For new cusotmers we ask for COD for the first spring. After that we can look at terms.

We have a separate catalog for summer and fall. It goes out in June. There is no minimum prebook for theses seasons. We encourage preorders for mums as they sell out.

How do I place an order?

You can place an order once you become a customer. See Wholesale Accounts Tab to apply to become our customer. We will be in touch with you about all the details of ordering.

How far do you ship?

We ship locally with truck delivery. Our area includes much of Minnesota including the Twin Cities and Wisconsin.

What are your growing methods?

We use sustainable methods with an emphasis on creating a life giving environment. For details on methods see our Blog post about growing methods on the home page. This is updated each year, summarizing current methods, products and philosophy.

Are plants sold as flats or individually? How can I tell how a plant is sold in terms of size and number?

Once you have created your Wholesale Account and downloaded the order form look on the order form for the information.

1.The column header SIZE will tell you the size of the pot and number in a flat. For example: Speciality Annuals are 4" round - 10 Ct,  which means each plant is in a 4" round pot and they are sold in flats of 10.

2. If a count is not listed in the size column, look at the NOTES column for details on how this plant is sold. For example: Large Annuals are 5 1/4" Jumbo Square in the SIZE column and says Order in Qty of 8 in the NOTES column.  So these plants are in 5 1/4" square pots and sold in flats of 8.

The Rush Creek Growers catalogue includes information about size, flats and soil in the catagory header paragraphs.
