Brian's many hats:

Brian started at Rush Creek Growers in the spring of 2024. His many years as a community mechanic gives him essential techinical and problem solving skills for addressing all the vaired challenges that arise at Rus Creek Growers. Brian repairs and monitors much of the equipment and structures that we depend on. He can also me found building greenhouses, loading carts during shipping season and otherwise helping where help is needed.

The 2025 Staff story prompt was how do you use, (work with) plants? Here is Brian's response:

I had great success this year planting a multitude of pollinator friendly plants in 3’x4’x3’ wooden bins. I placed the bins all over my 23 acres. The zinnias, marigolds, salvias, herbs, asclepias, agastache among others were humming and buzzing with pollinators and beneficials all season long. My garden has never looked so good!
