The strong lemon flavor and fragrance of the rich green, oval shaped leaves makes this herb a favorite for flavoring ice cream, teas and drinks. Great with fish. Easy to grow. Known as a mosquito repellent as well as a medicinal herb. Prefers cooler temps and part shade, but will grow in full sun. Perennial. Melissa officinalis
