You don’t have to be a member of the Pink Planty Club to get into the special place known as the border gem list, but you might be having more fun. So, what have we done? Here we are adding a sassy pink Dianthus, a soft pink Lisianthus, and a pink bicolor Zinnia. But even if you don’t think pink, you can still be queen every day with our new chartreuse/yellow marigold (it’s unscented!) or purple foliaged Vervain. Keep on dancing and remember the guidelines: a Border Gem is a tall mid-to-back-of-the-border annual that looks great in clumps of several plants.  We plant them in jumbo six packs and usually sell them green so your clients can get them in the garden and rooting out before they gain their eventual height and burst into glorious flower.  As always, be sure to ask for our colorful photo bench cards! They provide your customer with an image of the finished plant in bloom and are a big help in selling these Gems.
