Bushy little kale clusters burst out along the stalk like Brussels sprouts; no wonder, as it was bred from those brassica cousins. This variety is much earlier than one we tried a few years ago, and should produce in our climate. Braise , stir fry, oven roast or grill; the taste is sweet and nutty--like a combination of its parents. Can also be chopped raw into salads. Waiting until cool weather will give the best flavor.
