Genovese type basil with a bit more cold tolerance. No, that doesn't make it hardy, but it does allow you store it in the fridge without the leaves turning black as quickly. You may need to keep it pinched back as Kiera is not as bolt-tolerant as other Genovese basils. Seed is steam treated to prevent downy mildew problems.
