A slender arching multi-branched fern with evergreen foliage. A native of eastern North America it was used by the early settlers for Chistmas decoration, hence its common name. An easy-to-grow attractive fern. It will tolerate drier conditions than most ferns and can be used to prevent erosion on slopes.
