Oregano 'Dwarf'

This special dwarf Oregano comes to us from Theresa Mieseler of Shady Acres Herb Farm. It grows wild in Crete and is one of the ingredients in Cretan Mountain tea. Theresa describes it in her book Beyond Rosemary, Basil and Thyme: "The tiny, aromatic blue-green leaves are held on rigid wiry stems on which purple flowers bloom midsummer. It is a fabulous little plant for the deck-it loves sun and survives with little attention." Pollinators love it. When the strong scent wafts across your path picture yourself strolling in the mountains of Crete. Annual. Origanum microphyllum
