Plantain lily NEW 2023
A must have for the local scene! A reverse sport of 'St. Paul' and a tetraploid form of 'Paul's Glory'. Broadly ovate substantial leaves are blue green with lime green margins that turn golden with age. Plant habit is mounding and upright and will spread wide, great to fill in large shaded areas of the landscape! Flowers are light lavender, blooming in midsummer and are friendly to hummingbirds. Hostas are a tasty treat for rabbits and deer so some protection may be needed depending on pressure.
