Think Wisconsin's annual version of California Cypress tree, topping out at about 5 to 6 feet this lush green, extremely tight columnar form gives the gardener a great new shape to play with in borders. In large containers it will become a unique specimen. Nothing else is shaped like this. End of season shows a bit of foliage color with very minute aster-like pale flowers.  A unique texture on a plant that can provide structure and, oddly enough, whimsy.
