We like mid-early Belstar because of its exuberant side-shoot production, so figured the extended harvest could be a boon to folks who only have room for one or two broccoli plants.  (Because you ARE going to plant them 2 to 2½ feet apart, aren't you?  Yes. You are.)  Decent performance in hot or cold weather, a  strong disease resistance package and a compact frame check more boxes for the urban gardener.
