Verbena officianlis var.grandiflora 'Bampton'

Common Vervain

Finely textured bushy foliage supports multiple clusters of tiny lavender blooms in late summer. Medicinal plant as well as a pollinator fave. May self-sow or possibly perennialize here, although it dies back to the ground for winter. Bampton was selected for the purple cast of its foliage at a garden in Wales. Prefers a well-drained location.
