Common goldenrod's classy cousin. Umbels of yellow flowers bloom late summer into fall on tall stems. Elegant foliage rosette has long, broad, green-gray leaves with short rough hairs. Attractive to at least 40 different pollinators, so important this late in the season. Rhizomatous, but doesn't take over. May also be referred to as Oligoneuron rigidum.
