Tropical plant from South America with huge oak-like leaves covered in fine purple hairs and developing small purple spikes along the pronounced purple veins. Leaves can grow to over a foot long! Grown in Central and South America for its naranjillas, or little oranges. The spikes on this variety will be kinder to handle than our previous selection.
