Pycnanthemum muticum
Clustered Mountain Mint
Showy silver ovate leaves give this mountain mint an entirely different look that the usual needle leaf types. It also prefers moister soil than its narrow leaved relatives. Pink white blooms attract multiple pollinators and the fresh minty scent may attract multiple humans. Forms a sturdy clump, may spread by runners where it's happy. Perennial plant of the year for 2025.
