Classic tall blazing star with bottle brush-shaped inflorescence. Late summer rosy purple florets bloom starting at the top and work down the stalk, enticing bees, moths, butterflies and hummingbirds. Prefers dampish soil and plenty of sun. Low-key grass-like leaves at the base of the stalk.
