  • Pure-white, pea-like flowers

Architectural spikes of white blooms on top of grey-blue foliage. Popular with bumblebees and a host for many caterpillars, including Black-Spotted Prominent, Wild Indigo Duskywing, Frosted Elfin and Hoary Edge butterflies. The plant has a deep taproot and is difficult to move, so choose your site carefully. Long-lived but slow to mature, it will become a large plant with a diameter of four feet.
