Anthemis Tinctoria 'Kelwayi'

Dyer's Chamomile

DYE PLANT. Tons of golden yellow blooms in August and September above fragrant lacy foliage. Very low maintenance, fine in less fertile soils and is tough enough for the rock garden. This selection has deeper gold petals than the species. Hardy to the cold, but short lived and may perform more like a biennial. Often self sows, though. Dried flowers produce a rich golden orange dye.
