Native to dry areas and hot regions, this is another wonderful rock garden or border plant. It has a showy sprawling habit with abundant four-petaled, sweet-scented deep rose/plum colored flowers. The little grey-green leaves are edible and used primarily as a garnish. It is deer and rabbit resistant. It doesn't like its roots disturbed. If you cut back the foliage after bloom you will promote denser foliage growth. Fleuroselect Quality Mark winner in 2006.
