Pepper 'Aleppo'

Now you don't have to send away to Syria or Turkey to get this trendy crushed pepper condiment; just grow some of these, then dry and crush them yourself. Dry under the pilot light in your stove or dehydrator. It's described as a slow-building heat that's about half the hotness of those crushed chilies you sprinkle on pizza, with the addition of cumin-like side notes and a hint of a fruity raisin tang. Medium sized plants with many slender 4" three-lobed chilis; ripen to fully deep red. Your avocado toast isn't gonna know what hit it!
