A gigantic breeding breakthrough in the world of impatiens. This series performs vigorously in full sun to full shade. They have a similar appearance to a New Guinea, but these fabulous plants are tall and wide (up to 3 feet). Highly recommended plants for containers or the landscape. The spreading group, obviously, has a more trailing habit while the compact group is upright and works well in large containers or mid-border. These are not susceptible to Impatiens Downy Mildew. When we first started the business, back in the mid-90's (OMG), we loved to grow the Painted series of New Guineas. Now we have that same great gold and green glossy foliage with the interspecific Sunpatiens® series. Large orange blossoms provide color all season. Large plants thrive in the sun to shade. A great landscape variety or for larger containers.
