Winter squash, Buttercup 'Discus Bush'

Slightly flattened selection of buttercup is borne on extra compact 3 ft. vines. Fruit has extra rich and flaky deep golden flesh. Great for city gardens. Bred at North Dakota State; hard squash were a staple crop for the native American tribes in the Dakotas.
