Tropaeolum minus 'Elf's Cap'

<< PREV Image 1 of 3 NEXT >>

This sassy vintage nasturtium is "minus" in name only, as it pumped out brilliant color all summer long in our trials. The golden blooms with deep orange spots and striping are a bit smaller than standard nasturtiums, but the spur behind the petals is much longer, giving them an unusual appearance --and their playful name. They climb in a similar way to a morning glory, by petioles wrapping around supports, so be sure to offer them a trellis.
