This small leaved plant is easy to grow.  More pungent than summer savory, the peppery tang makes it a good fit with beans, earning it the name 'bean herb' in Europe. Known as a mixing herb, it perks up Sage, Thyme and Bay, and works well with pork and poultry.  Perennial Z-5.  Satureja montana
